Hello Neighbors,
On May 13th, at the start of the Village of Athens Board of Trustees meeting, we will hold a brief informational session on upcoming changes to our sewer rate structure and fee schedule. As you may know, the village recently underwent a study of our sewer rates and structure to determine the best way to fill the gaps in our sewer system’s annual budget. We enlisted the help of a federally funded non-profit called RCAP Solutions to do so. Last year, we went through this same process with our water system. A representative from RCAP will be on site to answer questions regarding the study, which you can view here.
