12 6:00 pm: Athens Village Board Meeting 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm August 12, 2026 The public is welcome to attend Village Board meetings! Meetings take place on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM. Subscribe to the blog to receive links and other important information. The second Wednesday is the department heads’ meeting. The fourth Wednesday is a public agenda meeting. If you’d like to get on the agenda for a public meeting, please submit your request by that Monday.

18 6:30 pm: Planning Board Meeting 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm August 18, 2026 Planning Board meetings take place on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm. The public is certainly welcome to attend. All meetings take place at the Community Building, 2 First Street.

20 6:30 pm: Conservation Advisory Council 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm August 20, 2026 Athens has established a Conservation Advisory Council, the first in Greene County!
