Catskill Mountain Ferry Company began service between Athens and Hudson last Saturday and we couldn’t be more delighted to have them in our community. So, we’re spreading the word!
The new ferry service will operate Friday-Sunday and you can find more info or book your trip at their website: catskillmountainferry.com.
They also offer sightseeing tours and Hudson-Athens Lighthouse visits.

HI. Are we allowed to have bikes on the ferry? How do we schedule a sightseeing/lighthouse tour? Thanks.
Hi Neena, not sure about the bikes or bookings. You would need to contact either the ferry company or HALPS (Hudson-Athens Lighthouse Preservation Society. During the summer season there are specific tour days and some nights when free tours are conducted from Athens Riverfront Park. We do not have that schedule yet, but will post when it’s available.
