Hello Neighbors,
On May 27th, at the start of the Village of Athens Board of Trustees meeting, we will hold a brief informational session on proposed maintenance and upgrades to the alleys. The plan would improve their surfaces, thus, our ability to plow them in the winter. This will increase safety and allow better access for residents who reach their homes or parking structures via the alleyways.
Phase one began earlier this spring and we received a lot of questions regarding what was coming. We had a brief, and positive, discussion at our April 8th meeting with several residents in attendance. This session will build on what we learned that evening as well as serve as an opportunity to allow more residents to hear the plans from the source, ask questions and dispel rumors.
