Hello Neighbors,
This week’s Village Board meeting is the monthly department heads meeting. However, we will begin with our annual organizational agenda, during which newly re-elected trustees will be sworn in and the mayor will make committee assignments and appointments for the coming year.
After that we’ll hold a public hearing on the Village of Athens preliminary budget for FYE27. You can view the preliminary budget here. There will also be hard copies available in the clerk’s office.
We will then commence our regular department heads meeting.
We begin at 6:00pm at the Athens Village Clerk’s Office (2 First St., 1st fl.).
