The mayor has declared a snow emergency for the Village of Athens effective beginning 8pm Monday, December 1st, 2025. Alternate side (odd/even) parking regulations begin at this time. These regulations continue through Wednesday, December 3rd at 8am unless the emergency is extended.
Please take note of the parking regulations below and help us keep the streets clear.
Alternate side of the street parking shall be in effect for the duration of the emergency and shall commence at the time the declaration is made. On even-numbered days, parking is permitted only on the even-numbered side of the street. On odd-numbered days parking is only permitted on the odd-numbered side of the street. A restricted day starts at 8:00 a.m. and continues until 8:00 a.m. the following day.
