We’ve seen a large uptick in reported water issues involving discoloration and odor, due to the recent drought conditions at the reservoir. To address this, our crews will be conducting hydrant flushing operations throughout the village beginning immediately. Operations will start on Schoharie Tpke. today and continue throughout the week.
Some residents may experience turbidity and/or discoloration in their water. This is a normal part of the process.
