Hello Neighbors,
This week’s Village Board meeting is the monthly department heads meeting. However, we will begin with a public hearing, as advertised, on a local law to override the tax levy limit for fiscal year 2025/26. This is done annually to allow, if necessary, the Village Board to exceed the 2% tax levy increase limit. You may view the law here.
We begin at 6:00pm at the Athens Village Office (2 First St.).
