President Biden has declared Thursday, January 9th, 2025 a national day of mourning for President Jimmy Carter who passed away on December 29th, 2024 at age 100. This day of mourning coincides with President Carter’s funeral which will take place at the Washington National Cathedral.
In honor of this day of mourning, the Village Clerk’s office will be closed as will the Village Department of Public Works.
