It’s going to be very, very hot this week. In preparation for this extreme heat, Governor Hochul has activated the State Emergency Operations Center and released some helpful information, which can be found here.
In addition, here are some tips for staying cool from the Federal Centers for Disease Control.
If you need a cooling center, here’s a list of cooling centers in Greene County. Call before you go to make sure they are open.
Please take all necessary precautions, stay hydrated and limit your time outdoors whenever possible.
